THE BORN PRINCE: Upcoming Artist & Creative Content Star
Upcoming artist and creator Lansana Nwosu or 6K is a man of many skillsets, and names. Born in Cairo, Egypt, and raised in Toronto, Nwosu dedicated himself to basketball. With the moves and mindset of an explosive combo guard, Nwosu initially played basketball for the East Florida State Titans, Kilgore Rangers, and the University of Guelph. Nwosu’s persona and athletic prowess led him being scouted to a partnership with clothing brand Reigning Champ. As part of the sponsorship, Nwosu received attention in Toronto and Vancouver as a multi-billboard athlete. Ever so humble even with his likeness being seen by many, Nwosu sees each opportunity as a stepping stone to the next one, not wishing to bask in the accomplishment. Feeling the pull of new possibilities on the West Coast, he moved to Vancouver during the pandemic while being recruited by multiple B.C. universities for his hoops. Nwosu, now 23, also brought with him a musical side and a desire to spread love. With an ultimate goal of entering the NBA undrafted and playing ball professionally, Nwosu trains hard and is always looking to expand his game.
6K! BE YOURSELF
6K! That’s the first thing you hear when you play Nwosu’s music. With a melodious and catchy flow, Nwosu, or 6K, has released a number of solo tracks across streaming platforms. Tracks such as RedRum, Chioma, and Ma’suga all show different sides of the multi-talented creator; from party anthems to love songs to melancholy reflection. Also shooting music videos, short film, modelling, and working as a personal trainer has allowed Nwosu/6K to refine all of his professional skills.

says Nwosu in regard to his own life experiences and current platform. Having seen his share of difficult times, Nwosu wishes to share positivity and strength to all who will listen. Life is too short, he states, to be caught up in hate. Nwosu’s vision for himself, and himself in the city of Vancouver is to lead by example. To bring the city to global attention by artist networking and creative collaboration, both at the professional and personal levels.
As a musician and public figure, the young virtuoso wants to share his message of personal fulfillment and perseverance. The son of immigrant parents, Nwosu knows the lengths it takes to achieve that attainable dream, and how hard it can be to stay driven. It does not come from anywhere else but within yourself. By believing in and being yourself, you make anything possible with dedication. Your past does not limit what you can achieve.
