Released on October 27, 2022, Seth Jaxx ascends to the position of Earth’s musical emissary with his first solo studio project, PULP FICTION 3D – EP. Amassing his first hits with the supporting single IN A HIGHER STATE, the clever minimalist and cloudlike album gem New IceMan, and melodic trap guitar fan-favorite The Moment, Pulp Fiction 3D – EP has hit 6000+ streams since release. From a perspective of looking down on whence he came, the 21-year old Vancouver rapper shares an electrifying journey of self-within-society, and an underlying message of enlightenment. The severing of everything holding him back and the realization we are our own worst enemies. The title track, produced by Seth Jaxx‘s cousin and Ottawa-native producer Cole Balantz, is a bouncy and dark trap vibe that sums up the extremely processed and graphic experience of the modern world.

In Seth Jaxx‘s own words, he describes the meaning behind Pulp Fiction 3D;
“Take it (lyrics) at face value, but that’s the one thing you can’t do in the world today. We didn’t start the fire, but lately it just seems so f**king crazy out there. The sh*t you hear on the news, what happens every day. There’s always a crisis, or world event, always something terrible happening somewhere and sometimes it just seems so far fetched, as if we were living in some twisted pulp fiction in 3D or a Tarantino flick. One minute there really is aliens among us, the next minute, you have businessmen giving health advice and actors as politicians. Tomorrow, who knows, they’ll have found the hollow earth in Antarctica. You gotta take it all with a grain of salt and ask yourself who stands to gain from it, and then realize you gotta change yourself and be better if you want to do anything about anything”
The young emcee has come a long way since his first SoundCloud uploads. Pulp Fiction 3D sees the establishment of Seth Jaxx‘s sound and unique execution on the mic. Never wishing to be pigeonholed into one genre, Jaxx creates an engaging listening experience with his own style, while still allowing the influences of his inspirations to shine through. On the Vancouver scene his sound has been described as comparable to Lil Baby, Merkules, Polo G, and Post Malone, while the artist himself credits some of his sonic inspirations as Young Thug, Shaggy, David Bowie and Juice WRLD. It is clear to see that Seth Jaxx has hit the scene with a newfound confidence and bravado as well as production quality. In promotion of Pulp Fiction 3D – EP, Jaxx performed in legendary Vancouver nightclubs such as Fortune Sound, Lana Lou’s, Cabana Lounge, and more.
