Fresh out the booth with a two-pack single, The.Healing.Process., rising Calgary/Vancouver rapper and producer 90 Proof returns with his first release of 2022. Released on January 30, the two tracks RoseGold. & MOMENTO. (feat. GXDLESS) show two parallel aspects of healing a damaged mind. On the first day of release, The.Healing.Process received over 10,000 streams on Spotify.
An artist’s soul is born from a broken state, and exists in a space beyond, yet also tragically influenced by the forces of man. This track seeks to show how those demons like depression, anger, and resulting confusion are destroyed and banished by the progression of the creative dream. Oftentimes, music is also therapeutic to the recording artist and not just the listener. Seeing that finished product, and recognizing the passion and pain that went into creating it is the nail in the coffin of our former distress. It cannot hurt you anymore.
